Summer Blooms Hand Salve 2 oz
There is a place in Michigan near the dunes where the trees grow out of the sand. When you hike to the top of the largest of the dunes, you are treated to a much different perspective of a tree than one would normally encounter when walking along the forest floor. The middle and upper branches rest on the dune sands and you are able to be up close to limbs that would normally be 25 or 30 feet off the ground. One of the trees is the linden, which blooms mid June. The scent of the linden flower always reminds me of the beginning of summer; long days, seemingly endless twilight, hot sand, laughter on lake breezes, and the uniquely sweet scent of the linden flowers – my reward for climbing to the top of the dune.
